New Leadership for District 8
Teddy McCullough for Denver City Council
Fresh Perspective
My grandma Joyce taught me that showing up matters, that speaking up matters, and that the people closest to a problem are usually closest to its solution, if anyone bothers to ask them. I've carried that with me through a lot of different rooms, from the White House to community banking to building nonprofits from scratch. That path isn't typical for someone running for City Council, and that's exactly the point. District 8 deserves someone who knows what it means to fight for the things this community is still waiting on.
Teddy’s Commitments
Affordability
Housing you can afford. Small and local businesses that can operate successfully. Help for neighbors without homes. Groceries, childcare, and utilities within reach.
Accessibility
Transit that's reliable and safe. Streets you can safely walk and cross. Parks and public spaces that get the investment they deserve. The right response in times of need.
Accountability
Clean air in neighborhoods that have carried too much pollution. Native peoples with a seat at the table. Transparency in how your tax dollars are spent.
Community-Driven Leadership. Achieving Real Results for Every Neighborhood
District 8 is diverse, dynamic, and full of people who deserve tangible results from their city government. I’m running to advocate for affordable housing that keeps families in the neighborhoods they love, to ensure transit and city services serve every part of the district, and to hold those in power accountable. Most importantly, I’ll be the kind of City Councilor who shows up, stays visible in the community, and remains open and accountable to the people I represent.
